The only photos I seem to get posted here anymore are school/work related. Seeing how I currently have a busted up right wrist and I am trying to keep the camera in the bag for a few weeks while it heals I might just get a chance to get caught up on editing and posting some photos. Problem is typing is difficult with a bad right paw. The good news is I'm ambidextrous with a mouse so I can still do most things on the computer.
I currently have Kearns's wedding, band photos shot at the Metro, and my trip to Colorado that are priorities. I also have my trip to Mexico from a few months ago I haven't touched along with lots of urban exploration and a few other things that hopefully I'll be motivated to sort through this summer. Before I do any of that I'm in the process of redoing my photo cataloging/backup system which I should have done in a couple of days.
I hustled at the end of the school year to get photos of all the last week events online. Check them out and take a look back soon for all the photos I listed above.

With the help of my good friend Shalimar B, I took kindergarten graduation portraits for my school, Hammond Elementary. I love the catch light in their eyes.

ST. STEPHENS
Over the past month my friend and fellow photographer Eric, ebow.org, has introduced me to urban exploration photography and high dynamic range photo processing. This is one of many places around Chicago I've explored recently. This picture was featured on Chicago Public Radio's home page on 03/04/09. Now it can be found here. There are lots of photos to come from all these wonderful places I've recently visitied.

HOUSE OF BLUES
A friend of mine's band was playing with four other bands at the Chicago House of Blues. The bands were Inept, On The Front, Made Avail, 3rd Time's A Charm, and JP Harrington. Photographing live music in a venue as awesome as the House of Blues is a pretty sweet gig.

BALD EAGLES
I went to Starved Rock State Park with a group to photograph bald eagles. When the river freezes over the eagles hunt for fish because the river never freezes over near the dam. Here are my favorite shots from the day.
